We are happy to report to you that God has blessed with the beginning of a great second year here at MBBI! Six classes are being offered this semester. Four of these are held on campus on Monday and Tuesday evenings and the other two are extension classes. A total of 73 students are enrolled, making it another record enrollment.
We began this year on our new campus. Houston Road Baptist Church closed their doors in January 2017, and they have provided their facilities for our use. We have plenty of room to grow because of their partnering with us. This was all a work of God since they contacted us with the proposal.
God has also blessed by providing a new sign at the road. Headrick Signs and Graphics donated the new faces and reworked the electrical components in the cabinet. Plus, we have new signage in front of the main building welcoming visitors and students and new sign plaques down the main hallway identifying each room.
As mentioned in a previous writing, the library of Brother Ray Thornton, a faithful soldier of the cross, has been donated to MBBI, totaling almost 2000 volumes. Two other preachers have made donations and the library of another deceased preacher brother has been donated and we await its arrival.
We are excited about this new site just launched as it expands our way of reaching more students and communicating with current students and friends of MBBI. You can also find us on Facebook.
We ask for your prayers as we continue to follow God as He leads on this exciting journey, providing an educational institution that teaches the Word of God, upholding traditional values, standards and worship.
