Many things are necessary for any school to become a strong educational institution. It must hold to an unswerving view of the Bible as its foundation, the faculty must be doctrinally sound and committed, and it needs a strong library for study and research.

Our library has been growing with donations from individuals. Recently, the library of Brother Nonnie Jefcoat, was donated by his family. Brother Nonnie passed away after an illness and he was a faithful pastor in this area for many years.

Our goal is to also supply our students with access to an outstanding digital library, and now this has become a reality. Dr. Chris Wells has set up the Mississippi Baptist Bible Institute Library online through his private access. Our students can now access this library. They will be given an ID and password and will have access to 4,023 books. 1,556 of these are commentary volumes.

As our digital library and campus library both grow, we face challenges. Obviously there is no physical space required for the digital library, but the campus library has to be organized and established. Books will need to be cataloged and shelves built. We now have close to 4,000 books in our campus library. Pray for God to raise up some believers who may feel led to help build our bookshelves, catalog the books, and have the library ready for complete use as soon as possible. If nothing else, we are hopeful the shelves could be built and installed by the next semester beginning January 2018.

God continues to bless and we still stand amazed at His provision. He is far ahead of us and our plans and we are still trying to catch up to Him and His plans for Mississippi Baptist Bible Institute.
